Educational estimate only. It does not include slippage, spread, funding, exchange downtime, local tax rules, or custody risk.
Measure crypto performance beyond the headline price.
The crypto ROI calculator helps you estimate how an investment performed after fees, taxes, buy price, sell price, live market prices, historical candles, CAGR, drawdown, and downside scenarios. It is useful when a coin is up in price but you still need to understand the real return after costs.
Crypto performance can look very different depending on your entry date, fees, extra buys, and whether you measure simple profit, percentage ROI, annualized return, or drawdown. This page keeps those numbers in one place so you can review an investment with more context.
Select a coin and the tool refreshes current market prices, 24h movement, and source data so your current-value estimate stays relevant.
Use the buy-date model for historical performance, or switch to manual prices when you want to test a custom entry and exit scenario.
Review max drawdown, break-even price, bear-case value, CAGR, fees, taxes, and net ROI instead of only looking at gross profit.
How to use the ROI calculator
Pick Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, BNB, XRP, Dogecoin, Chainlink, Polkadot, or another supported asset.
Enter the amount invested, optional extra buys, fee rates, and tax estimate so the net result is closer to real trading conditions.
Compare net profit, ROI, CAGR, max drawdown, break-even sell price, and bear-case value before making a decision.
Crypto ROI FAQs
Does the ROI calculator use live prices?
Yes. It attempts to load live prices from Binance first and can fall back to CoinGecko. The current value, live price box, and related calculations update from that data when available.
What is the difference between profit and ROI?
Profit is the dollar gain or loss. ROI is the percentage return compared with the amount invested, which makes it easier to compare different position sizes.
What is CAGR?
CAGR is the annualized growth rate. It estimates what the yearly return would look like if the total result were smoothed across the holding period.
Why does max drawdown matter?
Max drawdown shows how far the position fell from a previous high during the selected period. A coin can have a positive final ROI but still experience painful drawdowns along the way.
Does this calculate my exact tax bill?
No. The tax field is a planning input only. Crypto tax treatment depends on your country, holding period, records, losses, income type, and local rules.
Why do exchange results differ from this calculator?
Exchanges may include spreads, different fee tiers, deposits, withdrawals, funding costs, slippage, or different price timestamps. Use this page as an educational model and keep your official records.
Connect ROI with trade and tax context
ROI is more useful when you also check fees, liquidation risk, and records.
